Lorraine Solomon, principal of Atanasio Designs, creates functional, inspirational and comfortable spaces for both residential and commercial use. Dedicated to translating her clients' needs into spaces that truly reflect their own unique perspectives, Lorraine enjoys offering clients new ways to look at design. Working with projects of any size or scope, her creativity and understanding of both current and traditional design allow Lorraine to redefine spaces. Her intriguing yet comfortable designs are elegant and sophisticated while also being functional.
A versatile and creative professional, Lorraine is dedicated to finding new ways to create clients' dream homes, offices or other spaces, while also being mindful of their timeline and budget. Services include space planning and interior design, creative project management, window design and thoughtful selection of furniture, fabrics, fixtures, paint, wall coverings, lighting, artwork and accessories. Lorraine seamlessly collaborates with showrooms and contractors to meet all expectations.
Each space designed by Lorraine is as unique as every one of her satisfied clients. Born "with paint brushes in my hands," Lorraine has always loved art, using paint, floral arrangements, jewelry design and more to express her creativity. Prior to setting out in the world of interior design, she worked in marketing at American Express, where she honed her capabilities in meeting project deliverables, budgets and timelines as well as her exceptional client and customer service skills. Since achieving her dream of launching Atanasio Designs in 2012, Lorraine has been building a roster of beautiful and functional spaces and extremely satisfied clients.
A graduate of Brooklyn College and the Metropolitan Institute of Interior Design, Lorraine is an Allied Member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) and an Associate Member of IDS (Interior Design Society). Atanasio Designs is named for Lorraine's mother, whose creativity and design sense have inspired Lorraine throughout her life.
